AFC WWII Troop Kitchen Car

Files to make an ACF WWII troop kitchen car with full interior. After the war many of these cars were used by railroads in MOW service. Interior details include the coal stove, cabinets, work tops and water tanks. Side doors can be positioned as open or closed. Trucks are not included, but if you are running G scale I have a Allied Full cushion truck available which will match this car. The car sides, roof and underframe are each three sections that pin and glue together. Each component is then assembled with screws (I used M2 screws). The roof is removable. The diaphragms are a separate piece which can be used or omitted depending upon your prototype. The underframe is set up for both Kadee No 1 and G coupler boxes. There is less swing with the 830 coupler box, you could also adapt a standard box to give more swing clearance. Pin alignment holes and hand grabs holes are scaled to fit 3/64" rod (if printing in 1:29 scale). There are also holes on the ends for using Ozark grab irons. There are parts for rigging the brake components and piping using 3/64" rod and Ozark bolt castings The files are scaled to 1 mm = 1" (1/25.4 scale) so when printing your car adjust the % in your slicer based on your scale: G scale (1:29) scale to 86% O Scale (1/48) scale to 52% S Scale (1/64) scale to 39% HO Scale (1/87) scale to 29% (All parts will fit a 220 x 220 mm plate filament printer when scaled to 86%)
